Oh so Soft.... Felt Challenge

This is our last week of embellishments so we decided to finish it off feeling soft.... and using felt.  I love that you can use so many dies to cut felt in your Cuttlebug, Big Shot, Wizard...etc.. and even your Cricut machine...although it takes more time with that machine than the others.  I'm sure you will find some great inspiration from this week's DT collection.

On a sad note I wanted to let all our readers know that this is our last week of new challenges here at The Spot. I will be closing the blog for a short period to do some much needed housekeeping. The blog will be back with more challenges in the future. Please stay subscribed via email so that you get a notice when we come back.  I want to thank my wonderful Design Team for all your hard work. You are one seriously talented bunch and amazing friends. Thank you for all your support. To my kind sponsors; thank you , thank you, thank you. You are so generous. I could not have done this without you.

Please don't think that we are gone for good, I promise we will be back:)

The blog will stay up so that you can see previous challenges and videos.

.... almost forgot, last week's winner is post # 22 Kim H. Love the use of the buttons to make the number on the card. Please send me an email with your info to claim your prize at nrocke1@msn.com

Oh so Charming

This week we continue with our month long embellishment challenges. Today we are sharing with you projects created by our very talented Design Team using charms. You are going to love these. The charms add such a special touch to any project and are so unique. Not only do they add something extra to your creations, but the person who receives it can take the charm and turn it into a piece of jewelry. I love them. We can't wait to see what you come up with using charms on your projects. Enjoy your week.

Ouch! Pins.. pins ...pins.

Happy day to all. This month at the Cuttlebug Spot its going to be all about embellishments. You know those extra touches you add to your projects with brads, felt, buttons, etc. This week we start with pins. You an use hat pins or corsage pins to add something unique to your project.  Some members of our Design Team made their own pins, while others bought them already decorated. We have added a video to show you how to make your own at the end of this post.  Enjoy your week. ..... one last note,  if you are worried about the tip of the pin, you can add a small pearl or glue dot to protect the recipient. I curl my end with a small jewelry making tool. :)

Last week's winner is entry #11.  Sheryl please send me an email at nrocke1@msn.com to claim your prize.
