Our 1 Year Anniversary Week

I cant believe its been one year since we began challenges here at The Cuttlebug Spot. I remember waking up last year September 25th, thinking It would be so fun to have a blog to share our creations with this wonderful machine. Little did I know it would grow so much and so fast. We have over 1,000 followers, dedicated sponsors that offer great merchandise as prizes, and of course our very talented Design Team. I truly am blessed to have such wonderful ladies as part of our team. Each one brings their own style to every challenge. I hope that those of you that visit and participate have enjoyed this year as much as we have. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support.

Ok..... now how should we celebrate ??? Well, for starters we are revisiting our very first challenge, inking. If you are not familiar with this technique, its very simple. Ink your folder first with dye ink, then emboss as normal (no Staz-on ink) . You will be amazed at the results. Clean the folder with a non alcohol baby wipe or run under cold water and dry.

You can participate in the challenge this week if you would like .... however we want to celebrate the entire week by giving away a prize every day, Monday through Friday.

Oh my, you have to take a look at these creations. Margie, Karen, and Aymee did an awesome job on these. The piecing is just out of this world. Margie's creepy tree is just perfect for a Halloween cards and layouts eeek..... Karen's tree house make me want to be young and climb in with my friends. This week we are making confetti with a twist. We are embossing the confetti with any folder of your choice. I really love the affect that the embossing gives these otherwise plain strips of paper. Take a look at our projects, I'm sure you will agree.
