This week we are revisiting a technique that was posted a while back called double embossing. It's not embossing with 2 folders but embossing with one folder and nestabilities all on one project. I had always wanted to leave a smooth space in the middle of my embossing folders but didnt like that the smooth space looked plain so I played around with many different combinations of "sandwiches" in my cuttlebug until I discovered the perfect one that would allow me to emboss the surrounding area of a nestabilites and also emboss the nestabilitie's shape.
This technique can be seen on this video . We hope that you find time to try the technique for your next project and share that with us. Enjoy our creations this week.

I'm so excited with this week's challenge. The design team did an amazing job altering mail boxes. As you can see some are not the common Target tin ones that are sold for $1.00. You can make your own mail box out of paper, or if you own the new Love Struck cartridge for Cricut, you will find a mail box cut on it.

Here at The Cuttlebug Spot we are a community of crafters that love to create and have found that sharing our projects is both inspiring and educational. We post a new challenge every 2 weeks on Tuesdays and would love to have you join the fun! While we are partial to the Cuttlebug you may create a card, layout or altered item using any tool to emboss and add texture to your project.
